Cookie Policy

The short version
Google and Meta measurement runs by default and you can turn it off at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Your choice does not affect access to the website or contact form.
Current use of cookies
Control Shift uses Google Analytics 4 for website measurement, the Google Ads tag to understand the effectiveness of Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel to understand the effectiveness of Facebook and Instagram ads, including whether an ad click led to an enquiry. Google may set identifiers such as _ga, _ga_<container-id> and _gcl_aw; Meta may set identifiers such as _fbp. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text or other contact-form values to analytics, Google Ads or Meta.
Forms and external services
When you choose to submit a form, the information is handled by the service providers identified in our Privacy Policy. Those services may use their own essential technologies to process the request.
Your measurement choice
Measurement is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time through “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Once turned off, analytics and advertising storage are disabled and the Google and Meta measurement tags stop loading on future visits. Advertising personalisation remains disabled either way, whatever you choose.
Remembering your choice
We store your preference in your browser’s local storage under ctrlshift.measurement-consent.v1. This value is used only to remember whether the measurement tags may load. It remains until you change the setting or clear browser storage.
Your browser settings
Most browsers let you inspect, block or delete cookies through their privacy settings. Blocking essential storage may affect parts of a website that depend on it.
